The main focus of this book is to learn how to build an application with high throughput and low latency by using in-memory Data Grid, explores the in-memory Data Fabric in depth, including data fabric's architecture, caching methodology, distributed in-memory computing, CEP, and Big Data accelerating for Hadoop and Spark.
I purchased this book from leanpub and just started with it and I must let you know the incredible job you have done here; the big myth words have been demystified with simple examples. So good for learning; looking forward to more of your works. -- Sadruddin Mohammed
My first impression is that the content is great, touching of the most important concepts of caching with many examples sprinkled around for better understanding.
Chapter 2 is very important for a newcomer in the in-memory computing world. Chapter two described all the important topics of the in-memory caches and fills the gap between Ignite documentation and the theoretical part that lacks the documentation. -- Bill
Very readable introduction to much of the vast Ignite product. Clear. I feel I can now go and build a prototype system. -- J. P. Rutt
The book covers all of the possible ways of using the in-memory computing in modern application, provides a lot of useful use cases and architecture design. The book achieves a skillful balance between theory and the practice, provides real life examples for running and debugging. In every chapter, authors describe why and how to use Apache Ignite for increasing performance of your applications. The book is very easy to read and follows all the examples. I can recommend the book for IT architects and also programmers. -- Su. Baye
